Wiper Blades
Front and rear wiper blades replaced at the correct length.
Signs you need this
- Streaking, smearing, or chattering across the glass
- Rubber split, hardened, or lifting away from the blade
- Poor visibility in rain or slush
Wipers are cheap and easy to ignore until the first real downpour or a slush-covered highway. Ontario winters destroy them — road salt and freezing to the glass tear up the rubber quickly.
We fit the correct length for both sides (they're often different) and check the rear blade too.
Common questions
How often should wiper blades be replaced?
Roughly once a year, and often after a single Ontario winter. Salt, grit, and ice tear the rubber edge, and once it's chipped the blade will streak no matter how new it looks.
Why do my wipers streak or chatter?
Usually a worn rubber edge, or a build-up of road film and wax on the glass. Sometimes it's a bent arm holding the blade at the wrong angle to the windshield, which we check when we fit new blades.
Does my car have a rear wiper?
Most hatchbacks, wagons, and SUVs do, and it's the blade people forget. We fit the correct length front and rear, top up your washer fluid, and check the spray nozzles are aimed properly.
