Mount & Balance

Tires mounted on a touchless robotic machine and balanced.

A touchless tire machine mounting a tire on an alloy wheel

Our robotic tire machine mounts touchless: no steel bar ever contacts the wheel. On polished, painted, or low-profile wheels — the ones that mark up on a conventional machine — the difference is visible.

We stock a full range of all-season, summer, and winter tires, and we'll fit tires you bought elsewhere. Balancing is included either way.

Common questions

What does touchless robotic mounting mean?

The machine never puts a steel bar against your wheel. Nothing metal touches the rim at any point, which is what protects polished, painted, and low-profile aftermarket wheels from the gouges a conventional tire machine leaves.

Do I need new valve stems with new tires?

Rubber valve stems are inexpensive and they perish, so they're replaced as a matter of course with new tires. Vehicles with TPMS sensors get a service kit — new seals, grommet, and cap — rather than a whole new sensor.

Can you mount tires I bought elsewhere?

Yes. Bring them in, or have them shipped to the shop, and we'll fit and balance them the same way we would tires bought from us.

Is balancing included when I buy tires?

Balancing is part of the mount and balance service, which is charged per tire on top of the price of the tires themselves — you'll see it costed separately before you order. Road Force balancing, which loads the tire against a roller to find defects standard balancing can't see, is a further service worth considering if you've had vibration trouble before.
