Common questions
How often should tires be rotated?
Every 10,000 km or so, or at every second oil change. If you run winter tires, doing it at each seasonal changeover covers you with no extra visit.
Why do tires need rotating?
The wheels that steer and the wheels that drive wear differently, and on most cars the fronts wear faster. Moving them around evens the wear out, which means the set lasts longer and you replace four tires at once instead of two at a time.
Do all vehicles use the same rotation pattern?
No. It depends on drivetrain, and on whether your tires are directional or staggered in size front to rear — some can only move front to back on the same side, and some can't be rotated at all. We use the correct pattern for your vehicle.
