Your vehicle’s tires have very special information on that tire, such as the speed rating, load capability, max pressure, production date and more. This information is important when selecting tires for your needs. A very important number that serves as that tires unique identification number is call the DOT designation number. It is important to look at the last few digits, in which the last four numbers show the week and year of production, this is particular important as tires degrade with age.

Questions are often asked “how do I know my tire size?”

You can find your tires size for most cars on the inside of the front door or on the pilar of the front door of your vehicle, some manufactures advise you in the owner’s manual and some have identification numbers on trim panels on the inside of the vehicle.
